Upstate New York
McKenzie’s Hard Cider was founded in 2011 by Lenny Ciolek, a 35-year veteran of the beverage industry who began his career at an upstate NY distributor and driving a keg truck while in college. Ciolek's experience in the beverage indusstry combined with the 160-years of cider producing from the Mayer Brothers in West Seneca, NY has made McKenzie's the favorite among consumers in New York and many other U.S. markets.
McKenzie’s currently produces 5 different varieties of hard cider; Original, Black Cherry, Green Apple, Seasonal Reserve (cinnamon and nutmeg) and Lazy Lemon (lemonade blend). Its varieties have received several awards including Double Gold Medal for Black Cherry, and Silver Medals for Original and Green Apple at the 2012 New York Wine & Food Classic.
